Mrs. Dawnielle Broussard-Pollard, Studio Owner/ Choreographer/ Instructor. Dawnielle has been professionally trained since she was 12 years old at Dance Attitudes Academy in Beaumont, TX. In high school she took Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, and Contemporary within the Ozen High's Dance Department. While also in high school she was deemed captain of the Ozen Dazzling Dolls where she also attended many dance camps. During college Dawnielle danced for the Southern University Gold N' Bluez before joining the Southern University Dancing Dolls. Professionally, Dawnielle has graced the stage in Debbie Allen's Production "Just Dance,” Greg Williams' "Love Whitney,” and has served as a background dancer to many musicians. She has held many dance camps for high school dancers and choreographed dance Intensives for all ages. She is currently the dance sponsor for the Belaire High Royals. Dawnielle will be instructing Tap, Hip-Hop, Contemporary/Modern, Work it Out Aerobics, and Seduction. Mirror Me's own, Dawnielle Pollard!

Mr. Jason Burden, Studio Manager and Instructor
He has been trained in various genres of dance and has been dancing since the age of 12. He has graced the stage in productions with New Venture "The Wiz" and "Love Whitney". Debbie Allen productions “Just Dance" and "All the Right Moves". He has also been featured in the movie "Repentance". Jason will be teaching Hip-Hop and Contemporary/Modern. Mirror Me's own, Jason Burden!

Miss Dereka Lewis, instructor.
Dereka has been professionally trained since the age of 4. She has a strong background in Jazz. She has performed and danced throughout middle school and in high school as a Southern Lab Doll. She went on to become a Southern University Dancing Doll. Dereka will be teaching Jazz and Creative Movement for ages 4-12. Mirror Me's own Dereka Lewis!

Miss Prentice Garrett, instructor.
At the age of 2 years old Prentice began her dance training at McClendon School of Dance under the instruction of Denise McClendon in Atlanta, GA. She continued dancing through grade school on both her middle school and high school teams. Prentice returned to studio life in high school where she trained at Price Performing Arts Center in Decatur, GA under the instruction of Andrea Price Covington. Prentice went on to dance 4 wonderful years as a Southern University Fabulous Dancing Doll, where she participated in two Super Bowl performances and had the privilege to dance on stage with R&B Legend Chaka Khan. She is currently a professional NFL Cheerleader for the New Orleans Saints. Prentice will be teaching advanced hip-hop! Mirror Me's own Prentice Garrett!

Miss Kayla Vaughn, instructor.
Kayla has been professionally trained in dance since the age of 3. Some of her many accomplishments include McKinley High Pantherettes (Co-Captain and Instructor), The Nutcracker, Southern University Dancing Dolls, Two Super Bowl Performances, and much more! Mirror Me's own Kayla Vaughn!

Miss Nia Vaughn, instructor. Nia is a native of Baton Rouge Louisiana. She has been dancing since she was three years old and she specializes in jazz and lyrical dance. She was on the competition team at Defrances Academy of Dance for four years. Nia is a former Southern University Dancing Doll, New Orleans Voodoo Doll, and she also danced for Madonna in the Super Bowl in 2011. She feels that dance is an expression of your thoughts, feelings, and a great way to use your body to tell a story. Nia will be teaching Jazz and Creative Movement classes. She is overjoyed to become a staff member and is ready for the year to begin! Mirror Me's own Nia Vaughn!

Mrs. Lauren Thomas, instructor. Lauren danced ballet, tap, and jazz as well as pointe under the famous Russian dancer Constantine Apeteri. She danced throughout middle and high school and was captain of high school squad senior year. She has been performing and teaching dance since 18. Lauren is currently the sponsor over the Southern University Labotory dolls and has been for the past 4 years. Lauren will be teaching Tap and Contemporary/Modern. Mirror Me's own Lauren Thomas!

Robyn is a senior attending LSU. She is a mass communications major with a minor in political science. Robyn has been dancing for seventeen years and has worked with choreographers such as Debbie Allen, Avery Wilson, Terry Beeman, Kathy McDonald, Kevin Harris and more. She has been in many community theatre productions, her most recent performance being Baton Rouge Little Theatre’s Hairspray (2011). She currently dances with the Cangelosi Dance Project's Pre-Professional Company. Mirror Me’s own Robyn Oguinye!

Miss Meredith Warner, Staff Nurse.
Meredith is a Louisiana Board Certified nurse and is excited to be a part of the Mirror Me Team. Mirror Me's own Meredith Warner!

Miss Deijon Pollard, Finance Manager
Deijon has been the financial advisor for several major banking facilities in Louisiana. She has over ten years of professional experience in handling finances and making financial decisions for the corporations. She will handle all of Mirror Me Dance Studio’s financial interactions. Mirror Me’s own Deijon Pollard!
